Synthesis of a Chelate Resin Containing Diamine Group for Uranium Adsorption

Abstract

Divinylbenzene(DVB) & ethyleneglecol-dimethacrylate(EGD) crosslinked bead type polychloromethylstyrene(PCMS) was synthesized. Crosslinked PCMS matrix was aminated with ethylenediamine(EDA), dietbyltriamine(DTA), triethyltetramine(TETA) and investigated site-site interaction, phase transfer cata]yst(PTC) effect in amination. Amination-PCMS chlate resin has an excellent absorption capability for Cr+$^2$ in acid pH and Cd+$^2$, Cu+$^2$, UO+$^2$ in base pH.
