Abstract
Vapor phase photografting of acrylic acid (AA) was carried out onto low density polyeth ylene(LDPE) films on which benzophenone(BP) was previously coated. The effects of various reaction conditions were investigated. As BP concentration was increased, the graft yield was increased up to specific value and then decreased. And also it was found that the graft yield was increased with W irradiation time and AA quantity and then leveled off to 70min., 4M respectively. The graft yield was found to increase with reaction temperature up to 60'I but decreased above the temperature.
