초록

The objective of this research is to develop the CAD system package used by personal computer for automatic pattern designs, grading, and nesting, based on the mathematical andcomputational principles. After twin the basic Patter, this Package executes the tithe Programs that application patterns are automatically drawn by menu and user's input. For example, application patterns are blouses, cuffs, collars, necklines, and so on. These patterns are based on the basic patterns to be predrawn, namely blouses, collars, and necklines are gained from bodice and cuffs are from sleeve. Then user modifies these pattern to proper them for uses. It is also possible to obtain variations that each pattern design by employing dart manipulation at predetermined positions of frequent uses as well as any positions of the pattern with complete freedom of selection. For the purpose of variations the interactive graphic techniques are used which enable to use the design on the screen by using input device, i.e., cursor, mouse and tablet. In addition to dart manipulation, others modifications of incision, pleats, yokes and separation, are automatically executed by menu and interactive graphics. Also database system of pattern designs has been established to manage the computed and subsquently drawn data which will be called on later again.
