A Study on the Physical Properties of indrawn Polyester Filament Treated with Sunactants
계면활성제로 처리한 폴리에스테르 미연신사의 물성에 관한 연구
Abstract
The mechanic properties of undrawn polyethylene terephthalate (PET) filaments treated with nonionic surfactants were investigated. The strength and elongation of undrawn PET filament Increased upto 10-20% and Hook's elastic stress, necking stress, natural draw ratio of indrawn PET filaments decreased when they were treated with polyoxyethylene (POE) alkyl ether, polyethylene glycol, (PEG) alkyl ester, and polyethylene sorbitan ester of nonionic surfactants comparing with untreated undrawn PET filaments. From these results, it was found that nonionic surfactants added with ethylene oxide tended to plasticize undrawn PET filaments with penetrating the amorphous region of low - oriented undrawn PET filaments.
