The Analysis of Munsell Color Space by a Method of Bivariate Interpolation and Smooth Surface Fitting for Values Given at Irregularly Distributed Points
Bivariate Interpolation과 Smooth Fitting 법에 의한 Munsell 색채공간의 해석
Abstract
An algorithm is described for performing the analysis of the Munsell space, F(H, V, C), corresponding to given CIE space, F(y, x, y). Mathematically, this is equivalent to a three dimensional coordinate transformation where the functions are given only numerically for a grid of discrete points. This grid consists of approximately 10,000 points which are nonuni- formly spaced. This transformation is accomplished by the use of "A method of Bivariate Interpo- lation and Smooth Surface Fitting for Values Given at Irregularly Distributed Points."
