Abstract
The methods of grafting monomer mixture of acrylic acid(Ah)/methacrylic acid(EnA) onto isotactic polypropylene(imP) film by chemical initiation and the effects of grafting conditions on the graft yield have been studied. The AAMk grafted iPP films were characterized with IR, X-ray, and DSC. The surface characteristics such as the surface free energy and the work of adhesion, the frictional electrostatic voltage, and the dyeability with basic dye were also investigated. The AhMk grafted iPP film showed good hydrcphilicity rind the moisture regain of iPP-g- AAMh film increased with the grad yield. The grafted film had good antistatic property and could be dyed with basic dye. The dye uptake increased with the graft yield.
