Synthesis of Conjugated Polyvinylester from Propargyl Benzoate by Transition Metal Catalysts
전이금속촉매에 의한 프로파길 벤조에이트로부터 공액 폴리비닐에스테르의 합성
Abstract
The synthesis of poly (propargyl benzoate), . conjugated polyester, was carried out by various transition metal catalysts such as PdCl2, WCl6-cocatalyst, MoCl5-cocatalyst, etc. PdCl2 was found to be very effective catalyst to give the highest polymer yield(81%). The effects of temperature, time, and solvent for the polymerization of propargyl benzoate were also tested. The structure of polymer was identified to have a conjugated polyene by various spectral data. Physical properties such as solubility, molecular weight, and thermal property were also studied.
