Abstract

The dynamic rheological properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) filled with various levels of TiO2 contents were determined as a function of angular frequency under three different temperatures ; 28$0^{\circ}C$, 29$0^{\circ}C$, and 30$0^{\circ}C$. All the master curves presented on this paper were drawn by using temperature shift factor(reference temperature ; 28$0^{\circ}C$). In order to study the effects of the lapse of time and shear strain on the dynamic rheological properties of PET filled with various levels of TiO2 contents, the dynamic rheological behavior under the conditions of the lapse of time and shear strain at frequency of 10 rad/sec and temperature of 29$0^{\circ}C$ were also investigated. Dynamic viscosity, loss modulus and storage modulus were increased with increasing TiO2 content up to 4.24wt%. At angular frequency of 10 rad/sec and temperature of 29$0^{\circ}C$, dynamic viscosity and loss modulus were independent of the lapse of time and shear strain, but storage modulus varied with the lapse of time and shear strain up to 100%.
