Abstract

Investigation was carried out on the mechanical factor on the drape coefficients of Korean silk fabrics and imitated silk-like synthetic fabrics with those calculated by regression equation. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effect of mechanical properties on the aesthetic characteristic of the classical silk fabrics and imitated silk-like synthetic fabrics. Multiple regression equation of drape coefficients are as follows.
