Synthesis of Benzylcellulose in Homogeneous System and Its Applications(I) -Synthesis and Characterization of Benzylcellulose-
초록
Benzylcellulose was synthesized by the reaction of cellulose-nitrite, prepared by the dissoultion of cellulose in N2O4/dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) solvent system, with NaOH and benzyl chloride in that system. The procedure of obtaining benzylcellulose with high degree of stbstitution(D.S.) was proposed. The synthesized benzylcelluose with various D.S. were characterized by IR, X-ray, DSC, TGA, and proton-NMR analysis. Benzylcellulose with high D.S. shows melting before degradation at about 26
