A Study on the growth of Scientific Journal

17세기이래로 학술잡지는 연구자들에게 새로운 정보를 얻는 주요한 정보원이 되었다. 학술잡지의 기능과 특성을 알아보고 우리나라 과학의 발달지표로서 과학인력과 학습잡지의 증가를 조사하였는데 이들은 과학의 일반적인 성장곡선(logistic curve)을 따르고 있었다.

This article is offered as an introduction to the forms, and structure and characteristics of the periodical literature of science and technology. The growth of scientific knowledge take the form of the logistic curve.
