Software Transport System-Software Engineering의 몇가지 基本的인 硏究課題

초록

Computer hardware와 software技術을 現 觀點에서 考察하였다. Software Engineering의 基本的 硏究課題로서 體系的인 software作成 方法硏究를 몇가지 考察하고 特히 現存하는 프로그램을 다른 機種으로 object level에서 옮기는 software transport system(STS)의 設計와 實現이 提案되고 記述되었으며, 이 目 標를 達成하기 爲한 體系的인 硏究開發의 進行中 當面하게 될 여러 理論的 및 實 質的인 問題를 論하였다. 本 硏究의 長期的 實現方法 및 過程이 提示되어 있고 이에 따르는 附隨的 利點 및 이러한 規模로 動作하는 實質的 STS가 컴퓨터科學 은 물론 國內 情報産業에 貢獻할 点에 關하여 說明하였다.

The principal motivation for this R & D program is two-fold: one, which is obviously an indispensabel component of the emerging discipline of Software Engineering in Computer Science, is to perform large-scale experiments based on developing software methologies and in so doing look for new approaches toward alleviating the Software Crissis on the one hand, and two, which the author believes to be the most critical issue in successfully bringing about an indigenous computer industry in our country, is to contribute toward providing the software, systems as well as application-type, using new software techniques and tools associated, in a way totally unlike the conventional approach(leading to the current bottleneck) based essentially on brute-force handcoding and ad hoc manual debugging.
