MINI COMPUTER REAL-TIME EXECUTIVE에 關한 硏究

minicomputer는 대형 computer와 비교할 때 크기, 게산력, 값, 적용분야의 면에서 차이가 있다. 대부분의 minicomputer는 특정한 작업을 처리하는 시스템의 일부를 이루며 크기, 계산력, 비용이 특정분야에 minicomputer를 사용할 수 있는 여부를 결정하는 주된 요소를 이룬다. 공장의 process control, 실험실의 data acquisition, communication network의 message switching등은 Minicomputer가 이용되는 대표적인 분야이다. 이러한 분야에서는 주위환경에서 발생하는 사건을 탐지하고 이를 처리하여 적절한 시간내에 환경을 통제하는 것이 맹 중요하다. Realtime 환경에서 computer system은 환경의 직접적인 통제, 발생사건의 즉시적 인 처리능력을 갖추어야 하며 예측하기 어려운 방식으로 발생하는 일에 대응할 수 있어야 한다.

This paper is an analys of RDOS(Realtime Disk Operating System) for No.A & Eclipse mini computers. RDOS is a dual programming and multitasking realtime executive with memory management. Particular emphasis is placed on handling of both user and system tasks with necessary data bases. Setting up of tasks, their scheduling and, in case of an I/O task, interaction with interrupt system is examined.
