Abstract
The beta-galactosidase of Aspergillus niger CAD 1 described in previous report was immobilized to cellulose triacetate. The optimal conditions for immobilization of the enzyme were obtained when 13%(v/v) of the soluble enzyme (349 unit/ml) was entrapped in fiber prepared from 10%(w/v) cellulose triacetate in methylene chloride.
