A Study on the Uniaxial Stretching of Nylon-6 Films in Water
나일론6 필름의 수중 ―일축연신에 관한 연구
Abstract
Nylon 6 films were uniaxially stretched at 10∼90℃ in water and the effects of stretching conditions on the molecular orientation and mechanical properties of the film were examined. Following results were obtained. 1. The stretching work is a better measure in terms of kinetic analysis for the estimation of stretchiability of the film. 2. Relation between the logarithmic stretching work and degree of total molecular orientation obtained from the birefringence measurement shows a liner function. 3. The crystal orientation is oriented higher than that of the amorphous chains is unchanged in higher stretch region. 4. The superposition of work-temperature can be applied to the relation between the logarithmic value of stretching work vs. Young's modulus of the films.
