To utilize lipase obtained from Candida cylindracea for lipid hydrolysis, methods to immobilize lipase by adsorption and reaction characteristics of the immobilized lipase by adsorption were investigated. Among the tested adsorbents, silica gel was selected as a suitable adsorbent.
