양모염색에 있어서 표면장벽의 영향 -표피제거양모의 염색성-

The Effect of Surface Barrier in Wool Dyeing -The Dyeing Behavior of Descaled Wool-

밀리형 산성염료를 사용하여 표피제거 양모의 염색성울 조사하고 정사양모의 염색성과 비교하였다. 염색시 표피제거양모의 초기 염착량은 매우 높았으며 평형염착량의 pH 및 온도 의존성으로 볼 때 그 염색성은 정상양모에 대한 균염염료의 염색성과 유사함을 알았다. 이는 양모를 염소처리함으로써 염색장벽이 되는 양모의 표면 스케일이 제거되어 케라틴이 많이 노출될 뿐만 아니라 표면이 거칠고 다공질화 되었음을 의미한다.

The dyeing behavior of descaled wool was investigated and compared with that of normal wool using an acid milling dye. It was shown that the initial dyeing rate of descaled wool is very high and a milling acid dye on descaled wool acts like a level dyeing acid dye on normal wool in view of pH and temperature dependence of equilibrium dye uptake. These results indicate that chlorination of wool makes not only the scale of wool fiber removed and large area of keratin exposed over which no dyeing barrier exists but also its surface very rough and porous.
