Study on the Discoloring of Monoazo Disperse Dye in Dyeing Process(III) -The Evaluation of Discoloring by EHMO-

염색공정에서 Monoazo계 분산염료의 소색성에 관한 연구(III) -EHMO에 의한 소색성의 평가-

The discoloring reason of the monoazo disperse dyes in the dyeing process, especially in alkaline region, was explained by various experimental methods in the previous articles. In this study, the extended Huckel molecular orbital calculations on these dyes were performed for the explanation of their discoloring in the dyeing precess; It was found that the dyes with the higher frontier orbital energy gap were more stable than those with the louver frontier orbital energy gap, in the dyeing Process.

Monoazo 계 분산염료중 그 사용비중이 큰 Blue Dye I로 알칼리 영역엣서 염색할 때 나타나는 소색현상을 전편에서는 화학구조적으로 규명한 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 소색현상을 정량적으로 이해하기 위해서 확장 Huckel 부자궤도 함수를 Computer에 의해 계산한 결과 분자궤도 함수차가 클수록 소색성이 감소됨을 확인하였다. 이는 유사구조 염료의 연색공정에서의 소색현상을 예측하는데 적용가능할 것으로 기대된다.
