Abstract

The effect of acetophenone on the dyeing of wool by milling acid dye has been studied, and possible modes of action of acetophenone on the solvent-assisted dyeing were discussed, The observed increase of the equilibrium adsorption in the presence of acetophenone is considerably due to some of disaggregation of the dye in aqueous solution.
