Stochastic Nature of Fiber Breakage in Carding Process

소면기내에서의 섬유절단에 관한 확률모형

Abstract

The movement of the fiber in the carding process is not deterministic, hence it is necessary to analyse the process from a probabilistic standpoint. The fiber breakage in the carding process is analysed by the principle of Markov chain with some assumptions in this study. And it is compared with the experiment to verify that this type of approach is reasonable to analyse the fiber breakage in the carding process and that the amount of the fiber breakage in the carding process is determined by the average number of the times of the fiber passing through the breaking points in the card. And the average number of times of the fiber passing through the breaking points is determined primarily by the collecting power of the doffer.

소면기내에서의 섬유거동은 확률론으로만 해석할 수 있다. 본연구에서는 소면기내에서 섬유가 운동할때 생기는 섬유절단현상을 몇가지 가정하에서 마르코프 확률과정의 이론으로 해석했다. 해석한 결과는 실험적으로 확인되었으며 소면기내에서 발생하는 사절현상은 섬유가 소즐점을 통과하는 평균회수에 의해서 결정되고 위와같이 소면기내의 사절현상은 마르코프 확률과정으로 해석함이 타당함을 알아냈다. 섬유가 소즐점을 통과하는 평균회수는 도퍼의 섬유축적력에 의존함도 알아냈다.
