Abstract
The effects of draw ratio and draw temperature on the stress relaxation modulus were studied. Samples with the various combinations of 5 draw ratios and 5 draw temperatures were manufactured and measured for the stress relaxation. From the experimental results, it can be seen that relaxation stress increases with draw ratio, but decreases with draw temperature. The slope of stress to time decreases with draw ratio, but remains constant with respect to draw temperature. Relaxation stress increases with crystallinity below draw ratio 3.0, but above 3.0 no relation exists between relaxation stress and crystallinity.
