Transfer of nicotine into the mails stream of smote in Korean commercial cigarettes was investigated. The mass transfer of nicotine into tile main stream of smote and accumulation of nicotine in cigarette filler got higher as the puffing number increased. Only about 14oyo of nicotine ill a cigarette was puffed into mouth end. and the rest of the nicotine went to side stream of smote or converted to other volatile bases.
