The Effect of Metal Salts on the Lightfastness of the Dyed Silk Fiber
염색견의 일광견뢰도에 미치는 금속염처리의 영향
Abstract
The effect of metal salts on the lightfastness of the dyed silk fiber was investigated. Cu(II) has the best effect on the lightfastness than any other metal salts. The effect is in order of Cu (II)>Co(II)>Pb(II)>Zn(II)>Cr(III), Al(III)>Ba(II)>Mn(II). These orders have the same tendency in the stability of forming chelates between metal salts and other ligands. And we observed red shifts in the maximum wavelength band of the absorption spectrum by forming the chelates. En case of Cu(II), it may be regarded that Cu(II) forms 1:1 chelate type With the dye.
