Abstract
To study possible modification of acrylic fiber, Cashmilon SF was treated with hexamethylene-diamine(HMDA) in toluene at elevated temperature. Physico-chemical properties of treated fiber were tested by dyeing with benzyl scarlet BS and by measuring tensile strength of the fiber.
