A new mordant dyeing was performed by forming polymer-metal complex on the dyed fabrics. The results are as follows; The lightfastness of dyed fabric was increased by mordanting. The speed of new mordant dyeing was faster than ordinary mordant dyeing. By treatment with the new mordant dyeing, there is no dark colouring and no extraction of dye in the dyed fabrics.
