Snag Mechanism of Polyester Filament Fabrics Part I. Snag Theory of Filamentous Plain Woven Fabrics
폴리에스테르 필라멘트 직물의 스낵기구(제1보) -필라멘트 평직물의 스낵 이론-
Abstract
Idealized model of plain woven fabrics was chosen to investigate the factors which determine the snag mechanism. From the approach of structural mechanics, it was found that the friction coefficient of fibers, contact angles between warps and fillings, contact length and elastic modulus of yarns are most relevant to the snag mechanism. Energy stored in the yarn per unit volume is proportional to the sum of squares of yarn strain and contact lengths.
