Studies on the Durable Softening and Water-repellenting Agents (I) -Preparation of Water-repellenting Agent on the basis of 2-Octadecylamino-4,6-Dichloro-1, 3, 5-Triazine and its Application-

영구유연발수제에 관한 연구 (제1보) -2-Octadecylamino-4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-Triazine을 주제로 하는 발수제의 제조와 그 응용-

2-Octadecylamino-4,6-dichloro-1, 3, 5-triazine (ODAT) consisting of long chain alkylamino group in chlorotriazine unclear was synthesized, as the basis of water-repellenting agent. It was mixed by ODAT with ${\beta}$-naphthalene sulfonate-formaldehyde condensate (BNSF)-dispersing agent-and polyoxyethylene p-tert-butylphenol (PEBP)-emulsifying agent-to produce new type of water-repellenting agent. This new product, comparing with other water-repellenting agent, has been proved as excellent in the characteristios of the solubility in water and the effect of water repellency on fibers.
