Studies on the Open-end Spinning for Wool (Part 2)

양모의 오우픈 엔드 방적에 관한 연구(제2보)

In order to investigate the applicability of the open-end spining system for wool, the author had prepared the rotor type open-end spinning system having a revolving seperator, which was a different one from the existing device. The effect of the revolving seperator on the overlapping operation, the fiber configuration in fleece accumulating on the collecting surface of the rotor and the yarn evenness were experimented, and the experimental results were explained assuming that the rotor and the revolving separator were vertical coaxial cylinders and the annular air-flow between them were tangential laminar flow of an incompressible fluid.

양모에 대한 오우픈엔드 방적법의 적용가능성을 구명하기 위하여 저자는 기히 존재하고 있는 로오터형 오우픈엔드 방적법과 상이한 회전세퍼레이터식 로오터형 오우픈엔드 방적장치를 시작하고 회전세퍼레이터가 플링스의 더블링, 플리이스내의 섬유의 평행도 및 실의균제도에 미치는 영향에 대해서 실험했다. 실험결과는 세퍼레이터와 로오터를 동축수직 실린더로 가정하고 두 실린더 사이에서 회전하는 환상공기를 비압숙성 접선방향의 층류로 가정하므로써 해석될 수 있었다.
