A Study on the Irregularity of Spun Yarns & Slivers(Blended Strands)

A theoretical investigation for the interpretation of the irregularity of blended strands was made from the theory of probability. A general formula of the variance-length curve for tile blended strands is proposed by exten sion of the theory applied to the author's previous report. Various analysis, such as the influence of the central and dispersion tendency of the fibers on to the irregularity were fully discussed from the theoretical variance-length curve derive by author.
