Studies on the methods for improving Evenness and Production-Efficiency in the blend spinning of Domestic cotton and Synthetic fibres

In order to investigate the methods for improving the evenness of yarn, the amount of lubricants were used as a variant in the blending and spinning of short and long fibres The result swere as follows, (1) If the amount of lubricants remain constant, the finer yarn has the worse evennes. (2) If the finness of yarn remain constant, the more lubricants bring the better evenness. But it has limit on improvment, the limit of amount of lubricant was 0.45%. (3) In the spinning of finer yarn over 14's, there were less effect of lubricants on evenness than coarser yarn.
