Pterygopleurum Neurophyllum $K_{ITAGAWA}$ was a kind of new recorded perennial herbs in Korea; The roots are consisted of two parts, mother tuber and daughter tuber. There are characteristic deferences in histological structure between mother tuber and daughter tuber.
