초록
Fast response, regenerative energy capturing and commercial maturity of battery characterize it as the best complementary source for hybrid Railway propulsion systems (HRPSs). Although all batteries which have been commercialized do exhibit these features, but on the band of comparative performance and optimization facilitation for HRPSs, every battery occupy different level. This paper is intended to identify the determinants of the performance level in order to select the best option among batteries for HRPSs.
