항만 배후지역의 공간적 포용성 증진을 위한 도시설계적 방향성 제시에 관한 연구

A Study on Urban Design Direction for Promoting Spatial inclusion in Port Area

도시공간은 기회와 안락함을 보장하는 행복한 공간인 동시에 가난과 배제, 추방이 진행되는 불행한 공간이라는 양면적 사실도 가지고 있다. 즉, 도시 내에서는 성장과 쇠퇴가 동시에 이루어지며, 더욱 복잡해지고 있는 현대사회에서 이러한 현상은 더욱 극명하게 나타나고 있다. 항만공간 역시 항만산업의 성장과 쇠퇴현상이 항만 배후지역에 직, 간접적으로 많은 영향을 미치고 있으며 그에 따라 항만배후지역은 성장보다는 노후화된 이미지가 강한 실정이다. 하지만 아직까지 국내에는 항만공간에 대한 개발 및 계획에 대한 체계적인 가이드라인이 마련되어 있지 않아 과거부터 현재까지 항만공간의 성장과 쇠퇴에 따라 밀려나듯이 만들어진 배후지역의 쇠퇴화 현상은 더욱 심해지고 있다고 할 수 있다.

The urban space has both aspects that the happy space that guarantees opportunity and comfort is an unfortunate space where poverty, exclusion and deportation proceed simultaneously. In other words, growth and decline are simultaneous within the city, and this phenomenon is more evident in modern society, which is getting more complicated. The harbor space is also affected by the growth and decline of the port industry directly or indirectly in the port area. However, since there is no systematic guideline for development and planning of port space in Korea, the phenomenon of the decline of the rear area, which is made up as if the harbor space has been growing and declining from past to present, is getting worse.
