As technology advances, console game machines have developed the abilities, and more amazing graphics and great game play has provided. In this Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft and Sony, The two prominent company known for console game, announced the company's next-generation console game machines which is the XBOX-ONE & PLAY STATION4. They hint at a prelude for the next console game machines This paper will analyze merits and demerits of each console game machines, I will suggest the result of analyses about the fact that which machine will succeed in the market.

게임 시장에서 콘솔 게임이 차지하는 비중은 상당히 크다. 기술이 발전함에 따라 콘솔 게임의 기능도 자연스럽게 발전해왔고, 더 놀라운 그래픽과 박진감 넘치는 게임 플레이를 제공해왔다. 이번 E3쇼에서 콘솔게임계의 양대 산맥인 MICROSOFT사는 XBOX ONE을, SONY사는 PLAY STATION4를 발표, 차세대 콘솔 게임기의 시대의 서막을 알렸다. 본 논문에서는 양사의 콘솔 게임기 성능 및 장단점을 비교 분석해서 앞으로 시장에서 어떤 콘솔 게임기가 유리한지에 전망을 내도록 하겠다.
