Abstract
In this study, several design and construction cases of the pile bent system for bridges were introduced. The lateral displacement of the pile bent system is larger than the displacement of pile cap system, due to the smaller bending stiffness and the longer unsupported length. So, the analysis of the lateral pile displacement is main factor for the design of pile bent system and superstructure.
