A Study on the Redevelopment of Urban Residential Environment through Cultural and Ecological Design :Focusing on the redevelopment site at Hwamyeong-dong, Busan

문화 생태적 디자인을 통한 도시노후지역 재개발 연구 : 화명동 재개발 예정지를 중심으로

The present urban redevelopment has caused many problems. The truth is that the improvement of residential environment in this country has resulted in high-rise apartment buildings of the same form, without regard for vestiges of previous residents and regional characteristics. If redevelopment should be continued in a proper way to improve the right to adequate housing, a new form of urban design will be required, solving existing problems. For this, the cultural and ecological elements of the redevelopment site to be conserved and developed should be found and designed. Consequently, this study focuses on the cases of domestic and overseas urban design that cultural and ecological elements have been applied to redevelopment, and suggests Hwamyeong-dong, a deteriorated area in Busan, to design from a cultural and ecological point of view.

현재의 도시재개발은 여러 가지 문제를 파생하고 있다. 특히 이전 거주민의 흔적과 지역적 특성이 무시된 채 획일적으로 진행되는 고층 아파트 단지 위주의 재개발은 전국 어느 도시나 비슷한 모습으로 나타나고 있는 실정이다. 열악한 주거권을 개선하는 올바른 방식의 재개발이 앞으로 계속되어야 한다면 지금의 재개발의 문제점을 극복하는 새로운 도시디자인의 형태가 필요하다 할 것이다. 이를 위해서 재개발 예정지의 보존 발전할 문화적 생태적 요소를 발견하고 이를 디자인 할 필요가 있다. 이 논문은 문화 생태적 요소를 잘 살린 국 내외 도시 디자인 사례를 연구하고 부산의 노후지역중 하나인 화명동을 문화 생태적 관점으로 디자인할 것을 제안한다.
