Fabrication of Superconducting Ceramics Using Chemical Process

We have fabricated superconductor ceramics by chemical process. A high Tc superconductorwith a nominal composition of $Bi_{2}Sr_{2}Ca_{2}Cu_{3}O_y$ was prepared by the organic metal salts method. Experimental results suggest that the intermediate phase formed before the formation of the superconductor phase may be the most important factor. During the sintering, doped $Ag_{2}O$ was converted to Ag particles which were finely dispersed in superconductor samples.
