청각 장애인들이 사업장과 가정 등에서 IT 관련 장치로부터 정보를 취득하기 어려운 환경에서 청각 장애인들이 사용할 수 있는 무선 통신 장치의 개발은 정보 불평등이라는 새로운 정보장애를 해결할 수 있는 연구로서 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 장애인의 정상적인 생활 보조 기능 및 응급 상황에 신속히 대처하기 위한 다목적 무선 호출용 송수신 통신 장비의 설계 및 구현방안을 제안한다.
The present situation where the hearing handicapped can never get any information from IT related devices in his place of work and house, the development of the wireless device for communicating with the hearing handicapped can be regarded as the very important research which can solve the problem of the new obstacle in unbalanced information. In this paper, we propose the multipurpose wireless communication device using information and communication technology, for coping with quickly a state of emergency and assisting the normal life of the hearing handicapped.
