평생 건강한 삶을 누리기 위한 인간의 노력이 증가되면서 많은 관심을 받고 있는 것이 사상의학이다. 사상의학에서는 사람의 체질을 네 가지로 분류하여 체질에 맞는 의술을 행하였다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 임상의의 용모사기 방법을 시각화, 계량화, 정량화하여 임상의의 직관을 객관적 기기로 개발하기 위한 방법론을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 정면 얼굴과 측면 얼굴에서 사상 체질 분류에 필요한 특징 요소를 추출하고자 한다. 최종적으로 실험에 의해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 입증하고자 한다.
