초록
This paper describes an exciting current calculation method for transformers by finite element method. In case of a special case such as air-gap presence, one can not calculate exciting current accurately using exciting power curves due to flinging effect, magnetic saturation and so on. Transient analysis with external circuit is performed with a 2D model and compared to a test result.
