초록
Recently, applications of electromagnetic forces in the molten metal delivery system like LIM(linear induction motor) have been developed because it is dangerous to deliver the molten metal. Therefore it is important to get the fundamental characteristics of LIM. In this paper, we analyzed about characteristics of LIM for molten metal transportation by 2D finite element method. Then we compares the characteristics of LIM for molten metal transportation according to parameters.
