A Study on the Development of a Precision Capacitance Measurement Bridge

Abstract

A high precision transformer bridge system for comparison of primary capacitance standards at low frequencies was developed. Its main transformer was constructed by special winding techniques and has the inphase and quadrature error of $0.073{\times}10^{-6}$ and $0.14{\times}10^{-6}$ at 1592 Hz($\omega=10^4$) respectively. But the measurement uncertainty of this bridge system can be achieved $0.03{\times}10^{-6}$ by using some substitution method.
