A Study on Professional Awareness of the Planning Co-housing

The purpose of this study is to suggest planning direction to Co-housing as alternative house. The questionnaire survey is used. The subjects of questionnaire are professional having concerned with architectural, housing, city plan and environment. The results of the study are summarized as follow : It is necessary to connect with neighbors in Co-housing. It is important to make membership and member's will for community. Co-housing as a housing alternative is essential residents' participation. In terms of life in community, eating together, childrencare and residents' autonomy activity are very important. Finally, it is proper to locate suburb and city. The size under 50 units is proper. In terms of housing type, the low apartment housing is proper.
