Aiming at Railway Technical Researches

Research and technology development is an ongoing, iterative process that must be both forward looking and flexible enough to address new needs. The railway technical researches are key to making railway operations safer and more secure, reducing delays, reducing costs, raising effective capacity, improving customer satisfaction, improving energy utilization, reducing emissions, and becoming more economically viable. The railway technical research and development projects can be implemented as independent systems, in which case their benefits will be limited, or they can be implemented as integrated systems, in which case the benefits will be compounded. But the overall objectives of railway technical researches are to provide the railway system with technology which includes increasing quality and boosting productivity.
