Abstract

In this paper, we present the analysis results of TCSC(Thyritor Controlled Series Capacitor) operating characteristics with damping resisters. This TCSC system is designed for KERI simulator. It consists of many power system components, which are generator models, scale-downed transmission line modules, transformers, switches, FACTS(Flexible AC Transmission System) devices.
