Abstract
To find a new substance with superior melanogenesis inhibitory activity, the bioactivities of alkyl-3,4-dihydroxy-5-substituted benzoate (A) and N-alkyl-3,4-dihydroxy-5-substituted benzamide (B) derivatives as substrate of tyrosinase were measured in mouse melanoma cells.
