A Development of the Logistics Information System in Recording Industry

This study deals with a Logistics Information System(LIS) in recording industry. Many companies developed a LIS to minimize logistics cost and improve customer services. However, due to the diversity of distribution structure and the complexity of logistics process, developing an LIS in recording industry is complicated. This paper analyses the current situation in domestic recording industry and presents a framework of LIS. This system is composed of the front office related to the logistics processes and the back office related to the rest of the processes. This system can be used to develop an LIS in logistics industry. Some examples are given and discussed to validate the proposed LIS.
