Abstract

This paper presents steady state analysis of single-phase line-start motor. 2-phase motor transformation is performed to consider the different specifications between main and auxiliary windings. The symmetrical coordinates transformation is applied to solve the unbalanced magnetic field. The validity of analysis method is verified by comparing to experiments.
