A Study on the Characteristics of Interior Design in Japanese Urban Electric Railcar

일본 도시철도차량 객실의 디자인 특성에 관한 연구

In Korea, the interior design of urban electric railcar has been changed based on the requirements of railway operation company. However, most of the designs are similar to Japanese style owing to the Japanese technical cooperation in early stage of manufacturing in Korea. In order to present the direction of interior design of Korean electric railcar, we have investigated and analyzed the interior design of Japanese electric railcar.
