Performance Analysis on Interworking between MPOA Networks and MPLS Networks

MPOA 망과 MPLS 망의 연동 방안과 성능 분석

This paper presents the simulated results of proposed interworking methods those are possible to seamless contact by ATM advantage of MPOA network and MPLS network, which was based on ATM. First, we compared operations and characteristics of MPOA and MPLS, and Proposed to consideration and structure for interworking. In this result, we described to interworking methods and proposed to requirement interworking function of LER. For performance analysis of interworking methods, we make a comparative study of the simulation result.

이 논문은 ATM 기반의 MPOA 망과 MPLS 망을 ATM의 장점인 심리스 접속이 가능하도록 연동하는 방안들을 제시하고 성능을 분석한다. 우선 MPOA와 MPLS의 동작과 특징을 비교하고, 연동을 위한 고려 사항과 연동구조를 제시한다. 제시된 연동 구조를 위해 LER의 연동 기능을 제시하고 연동 방안들의 동작 과정을 서술한 후, 각 방안들의 분석과 함께 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과를 비교한다.
